Paris Las Vegas and Producer Cort McCown Announce the Opening of ‘Empire Comedy’ inside Napoleon’s Lounge

A-list comedians grace the stage weekly, making each week a unique comedic experience

LAS VEGAS – January 18, 2012 – Producer of the award-winning Playboy Comedy series, Cort McCown, has moved his comedy show lineup, now titled Empire Comedy, to Napoleon’s Lounge located inside Paris Las Vegas. This new live comedy show will boast some of the most noteworthy talent in the world of comedy for a night of funny, and always entertaining, standup.

For more than eight years, McCown has produced countless successful extended weekend runs with some of the top names in comedy during his tenure at the helm of Playboy Comedy. With his experience and rolodex that reads like a who’s who of the comedic world of standup, film and television, McCown is sure to bring a fresh and new comedic approach to Paris Las Vegas.

Napoleon’s Lounge, nestled inside Paris Las Vegas, will be the home to this new comedy production on the Las Vegas Strip. With its large windows overlooking the ‘streets’ of Paris, this venue will allow guests to feel relaxed as they enjoy a night of the funniest comedians to hit the Strip to date.

Comedian and actor Harland Williams has won the world over for his hilarious movie roles and outlandish stand-up, sketch comedy routines. Williams has starred in numerous unforgettable roles such as the pee-drinking cop in “Dumb and Dumber,” the loveable horse-killing stoner, Kenny in “Half Baked,” the hitchhiking serial killer in “There’s Something About Mary,” the silent motorcycle stud Slater, in “Superstar,” the goof-ball astronaut Fred Z. Writer-comedian, Chris Franjola has become has become easily recognizable due to his regular appearances on E!’s late-night hit show ‘Chelsea Lately.’ Where he not only partakes in comedic banter at the infamous ‘roundtable,’ but has also gone behind the scenes as a guest writer for the show. Since 2009, he has also secured a lead role in the scripted comedy series ‘After Lately’ which has just been picked up for its fourth season on the E! Network. About Robert Kelly
Robert Kelly has overcome many hardships in his life, all of which have made him the actor/comedian he is today. As a kid growing up in Chicago, Robert was in and out of Juvenile Hall which gave him the life experience to form his clever comedic approach. He has been winning audiences over for the last 18 years and has traveled across the country in the “Tourgasm Live” tour with Dance Cook and Gary Gulman.
